We Honor Veterans
Trellis Supportive Care proudly participates in the We Honor Veterans, a National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and the Veterans Administration (VA) joint program.
Veterans have had distinctive experiences they carry with them throughout life.
When it comes to caring for our veterans at end of life, we honor those experiences and are aware of the impact they have. Our staff receive special training to equip them with the knowledge, empathy, and skills to provide the best possible care for our veteran patients.
In addition to our specialized care for our veteran patients, we have an amazing outreach program for veterans. It all started with a Veteran's Coffee in Winston-Salem, and spread throughout the Piedmont/Triad. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our veterans by creating time and space for them to share fellowship and stories, and learn about valuable programs and services.

Veteran Advisory Council & Veteran Volunteers
We are grateful to our Veterans Advisory Council for their guidance and support in creating meaningful experiences for Veterans throughout the community as well as our Veteran patients.
We are also grateful to our Veteran Volunteers who are often paired with our Veteran patients.
