Culture of Belonging
We know that cultures and traditions are as varied as the people in our care; that faith is deeply personal and comes in many forms, that we come in different shades, and from small towns and big cities; and that love is love no matter what your family looks like. Above all – we know that our care is for ALL people.
In recent years, Trellis has further deepened its commitment to creating a culture of belonging.
Aligned with our mission of providing compassionate care, is our mission to be a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
We believe in treating each other with the same care, compassion, and respect as we treat those in our care. As a human service organization we know that our biggest asset is our team. That is why fostering a positive workplace environment is a top priority.
We believe in person-centered care for all people.
Each day, more than 800 patients and their families receive the highest level of care and support from Trellis Supportive Care.
Trellis Supportive Care believes that person-centered care, respect, and dignity for each patient and their family is essential. We have fostered a culture of belonging for those in our care and for those who dedicate themselves to a career at Trellis Supportive Care.
Since 1977, as the first hospice care organization in North Carolina, we have worked to create open and easy access to care for all people. We value our culture of caring and our culture of belonging by promoting quality time with our patients and their loved ones, and a supportive team environment for all who choose to share their expertise and compassion with Trellis.
