Trellis Supportive Care Serves Patients with Serious Illness or End-of-Life Needs

As the May 2026 Winston-Salem Journal article points out, Trellis Supportive Care has been providing compassionate care and support to people living with serious illness in northwest North Carolina for nearly 50 years. The article opens with a quote; “Our goal is to help people with serious illness live as well as possible at any stage of their illness. It can start with and advance care planning session, a palliative care consultation with goals of car conversations, and extend to expert hospice care with many layers of support for both patients and their loved one,” said Michael Lalor, M.D., president and CEO of the nonprofit, which serves 13 counties.
